Ninite

One of the common annoyances I have faced while rebuilding laptops is to have to individually install my favourite applications. The monotonous clicking through those EULAs one-by-one is just painful.

Then I found Ninite. Essentially, Ninite compresses all of this activity into only a few clicks. Choose your favourite software. Get the combined installer, run it and it handles the rest. What is best, it ensures you download the latest version of these softwares. You can also re-run the installer in the future to update all apps together. If you are interested, check out the Ninite Updater (paid) — “it watches your apps for updates automatically”. Although, I suspect there might be freeware to do this as well.

Ninite itself is free and supports Windows and Linux OS only. Mac users can try out GetMacApps.

And if you are interested, the featured image is a screenshot of my dosage from Ninite.
